Jamison Duffield
Jamison Duffield is a restlessly curious creative strategist who specializes in drawing the magic out of complex brands. He started his advertising career at Ogilvy & Mather in 2000 as a junior account manager on IBM, cutting his teeth on the groundbreaking IBM eBusiness campaign that helped revive Big Blue in the dot com era. After a brief stint as a frustrated copywriter, he leapt into brand planning in 2008 where he helped to launch IBM’s equally groundbreaking Smarter Planet campaign.
In the intervening years, Jamison has worked on a number of iconic campaigns for blue chip brands: Abbott, Barclays, BlackRock, Chevron, Cisco, Coca-Cola, Comcast, IKEA, iShares, Northrup Grumman, SAP, Samsung, UPS, and Verizon. If there is a single through- line that connects all of these disparate brands, it’s complexity. Complicated service offerings. Unique business models. Devilish market dynamics. For over twenty years, Jamison has helped complex brands tell their stories, excavating meaning and purpose – what makes these brands special – from the noise.
